There is no way you can go about your life without hearing his name at least once.... Who am I talking about? - Ralph Lauren of course...one of the greatest designers of the century.

I don't know why I am so hooked on his designs, maybe it's just a personal preference but every time he releases a new collection I become an even bigger fan. 

Born October 14,1939 in Bronx, NewYork, but I am not going to bore you with all the minor details, all I have to say is that his fashion goes from the runway to the streets in no time, because a lot of us can relate to it.

I would describe his style as Classic Elegance with a hint of preppy.Every time you look at his classic polo shirt you notice that the only things that change from season to season are colors, but the shape and the main "look  idea" is the same.

I remember stealing my mom's Polo's in 80's, then in mid 90's buying my own. In 2005 I was able to talk my boyfriend into wearing them and I bet that few years from now, if I have any kids - they will be "rocking" Ralph Lauren shirts as well.

Of course there is so much more to his designs  and I could spend  whole day talking about his beautiful evening gowns, or horse rider's boots, but what's the most important thing about his creations is that anyone can wear them and look fresh and clean.

I understand that not everyone likes this particular style, but Ralph Lauren truly turned preppy into "cool"...Take a look at some of his work and be a judge yourself...
